Meg just made this delightful Blog for me and is expecting me to fill it...right! Meg thinks that I need to journal my life. I'm not sure what there is to be too excited about, but, for her sake I will attempt to write what is going on in my piece of the world. At least I can say I am doing my journaling this way and sort of cheat!
This week the October issue of McCalls Quilting came out and I was excited because they even put my picture in this time! Woo hoo! I must be moving up the food chain. I have been very fortunate to have been asked to design for over a dozen magazines this year. It's been an enormous amount of work as usually I have to design, make the quilt and write the pattern. It takes a lot of time and trying to balance all of it with al the other parts of the business has been a handful.

I'm so excited you have a blog now! You are one of my favorite relatives but you know I'm terrible at calling, emailing, writing, etc. lol! So I love keeping in touch through the blog world.
Thank you so much for the wonderful patterns and books! Leanne and I were thrilled!!! Each of them by you and Meg are so creative and lovely and I'm so grateful for your kindness in sharing. They came at the perfect time, too because one of my very best friends is having her first baby (after 10 years of trying) and I want to make her a special quilt for a gift.
